I've always been drawn to vehicles that promise adventure. Not because of where they can take you, but because of the feeling they create before the journey even begins. This project started with a simple idea: what would the perfect modern overlanding wheel look like? Most off-road wheels lean heavily into aggressive styling, oversized details, and dark finishes. I wanted something that felt more timeless—something that looked equally at home crossing desert trails or parked beside a remote campsite at sunset. Through the JamesJack AI Custom process, I explored different directions before settling on a classic five-spoke foundation. The bronze finish became an important part of the vision because it felt connected to the landscapes that inspired the project: red rock canyons, desert dust, and long roads stretching toward the horizon. The design evolved through multiple iterations, balancing strength, simplicity, and character. Rather than chasing trends, the goal was to create something that felt enduring—like a piece of equipment built for years of exploration. Project Canyon Star isn't based on a specific trip. It's based on the idea of the next one. Every time I look at it, I can almost see the road disappearing into the distance.
