The GT-R has always been about raw performance. I wanted to give it a completely different personality without touching the engine.
I sat down with the AI Design Assistant and started from a feeling rather than a shape — something warm, confident, not aggressive. Most GT-R builds go for multi-spoke track-inspired designs, so I pushed the other direction. Through the conversation we landed on a clean five-spoke layout with bold sculpted volumes. The spokes aren't thin and sharp — they have real mass to them, with flowing transitions that suggest movement even when the car is standing still.
The satin gold finish came together last. Against the deep metallic gray body it brings warmth and contrast without demanding attention. Every angle catches light differently, and the curved surfaces do the work quietly.
The goal was never to make the GT-R louder. It was to make it feel more refined — while still reminding everyone what's underneath.

I've always had a thing for British grand tourers — there's a restraint to them that I respect. The DB12 came home as my weekend coastal car, built for slow drives along the coast and dinners that run late. The factory wheels were fine, but fine isn't really the point of a car like this.
I didn't want to pick from a catalog. I sat down with the AI Design Assistant and just started describing what I wanted — something with real depth to the spokes, not flat and stamped-looking, more like it was carved than pressed. We went back and forth on the spoke count and the spacing until the proportions actually matched the car instead of just sitting on it.
The deep navy finish was the last piece. It doesn't fight the silver body for attention, it just deepens it — especially at golden hour, when the blue picks up the last light off the water. Raw aluminum edges along the lip keep it from feeling too quiet. Color customization came at no extra cost, which made that decision easy.
It's wild that something this specific came out of a conversation with an AI. The car feels finished now in a way it didn't before.
The Cybertruck’s raw stainless-steel body is one of the reasons I bought it, but I also felt that its cold, industrial appearance could use something completely unexpected: color.
I wanted to transform the truck’s emotion without taking away from its unmistakable shape. Instead of choosing the usual black or brushed-metal finish, I designed a wheel around California Orange—a warm, energetic color inspired by sunshine, citrus, and the character of the California coast.
The wheel combines vivid orange accents with machined silver surfaces. The silver keeps a visual connection to the Cybertruck’s stainless-steel body, while the orange breaks through its cold, mechanical appearance and gives the truck a much more expressive personality.
The wheels are only the first stage of the build. I’m also preparing a matching California Orange wrap that will extend the color across the vehicle and bring the entire concept together.
My goal is not to make the Cybertruck less futuristic. It is to show that the future does not have to feel cold and emotionless. It can also be bright, energetic, and full of color.
I bought the Lucid Air Sapphire because it felt genuinely different — quiet, advanced, and forward-thinking without trying too hard. It didn’t look like anything else on the road, and that’s exactly what drew me to it.
After driving it for a while, I realized the stock wheels didn’t quite match that same feeling. Most aftermarket options were too busy with lots of spokes and aggressive details. I wanted something much cleaner — almost minimalist — that would let the car’s sleek lines speak for themselves while still adding a quiet sense of presence.
That’s when I decided to try JamesJack’s AI Custom. I started describing what I had in mind: a simple, disc-style design with smooth surfaces and just enough subtle detail to make it interesting. The AI gave me several directions, and I spent time refining the shape, adjusting the texture, and simplifying things further until it felt right.
The final Project Salt Disc turned out even better than I expected. From a distance it looks beautifully simple and almost seamless with the Sapphire. Up close, you notice the fine perforated texture that adds depth without making it complicated. It feels like a natural part of the car rather than something added on.
Now when I look at it, it genuinely feels like “my” Lucid. It captures the same calm, futuristic spirit that made me fall in love with the car in the first place.
When designing wheels for a 911, the challenge is often knowing when to stop.
The 911 already has one of the most recognizable silhouettes in automotive history. Adding excessive spokes, aggressive surfacing, or unnecessary complexity can easily compete with the shape of the car rather than complement it.
For this project, I wanted to explore the opposite direction.
The concept began with a simple question:
What if a wheel looked like it had been machined from a single block of metal?
The result is a clean five-section monoblock face that removes visual noise and focuses entirely on proportion, surface, and contrast. The large geometric panels create a strong architectural presence, while the recessed dark pockets around the perimeter add depth and prevent the design from feeling flat.
From a distance, the wheel appears almost effortless. Up close, the sharp transitions between the polished surfaces and shadowed sections reveal a surprising level of detail.
Mounted on the 992, the design transforms the character of the car. Instead of emphasizing motorsport aggression, it leans into modern industrial luxury. The wheel feels substantial, intentional, and timeless.
Not every wheel needs more spokes.
Sometimes the strongest statement comes from removing them.
Most wheel upgrades are about adding a bit more refinement. This one is the opposite.
The first time I saw the REIGN-10, I thought “this might be too much.” The deep black mesh already has a strong, stealthy presence, but that bold red outer ring completely flips the personality. It turns the wheels into a real focal point.
For a car like the 911 Turbo S, it actually feels right. The car has so much performance and attitude already — the wheels match that energy.
What I really liked was how JamesJack let me try something I probably wouldn’t have considered from traditional brands. Most catalogs stay super safe. REIGN-10 is anything but safe. I designed SOVEREIGN around a question that stayed with me throughout the entire process:
What would a wheel look like if it were created as a symbol of authority rather than a purely mechanical component?
Many modern luxury wheels pursue minimalism. For this project, I intentionally moved in the opposite direction. I wanted to create something ceremonial, architectural, and unmistakably regal.
The inspiration came from royal insignias, European palaces, ceremonial emblems, and the visual language of historic aristocracy. The emerald center represents permanence, heritage, and prestige. Surrounding it, the rose-gold structure acts as a frame, elevating the wheel beyond function and transforming it into an object of presence.
Every proportion was designed to guide the eye toward the center, creating a hierarchy similar to what can be found in coats of arms, royal seals, and historic symbols of sovereignty. The intricate lattice pattern was developed to evoke craftsmanship once reserved for objects created for nobility rather than mass production.
SOVEREIGN was never intended to be subtle.
It was created for extraordinary vehicles and for owners who appreciate design as a form of personal expression.
Every Signature design begins as an idea, but only one will ever become reality.

I've always loved how the Jeep Wrangler feels like it can go anywhere. Mine has taken me through forest roads, muddy trails, and more last-minute weekend adventures than I can count. That's part of what makes owning a Wrangler so much fun.
After a while, though, I started feeling like the wheels didn't really reflect that same energy. Most off-road builds seem to follow the same formula—black, bronze, or gunmetal. They look good, but they all start to blend together.
While exploring JamesJack's Ready Designs and using See It On Your Car, I came across ORBIT-8 in this bright green finish. It definitely wasn't the safe choice, which is exactly why I couldn't stop thinking about it. The color felt playful, confident, and completely different from anything I normally see on the trail.
What surprised me most was how naturally it worked with the Jeep. Against the olive-green paint and the dirt-covered bodywork, the wheels don't feel out of place at all. If anything, they make the whole build feel more alive. The Wrangler still looks rugged and capable, but now it has a lot more personality.
Every time I see it covered in mud after a day on the trails, I smile. It's still the same Wrangler I love—just a little more adventurous, a little more unique, and a lot more fun.
I bought the BMW M2 because it’s one of the last cars that still puts the driving experience first. It’s small, sharp, and just feels alive when you’re behind the wheel. After driving it for a few months, I started wanting the wheels to better match that same focused, energetic character.
I looked at quite a few options, but most either looked too tame or tried too hard with overly complicated designs. Then I tried JamesJack’s See It On Your Car tool and loaded up the VEKTRA. The moment I saw it on the M2, I knew this was the one. The sharp, sculpted spokes give it a strong sense of motion even when it’s parked, and the gold finish adds just the right amount of personality without being flashy.
What I love most is how well it works with the car’s natural stance. It enhances the M2’s athletic proportions instead of fighting them. The wheel looks purposeful and performance-oriented, which is exactly what I wanted — something that feels like it belongs on this car.
Now every time I walk into the garage or take it out for a drive, it puts a smile on my face. It still looks like a proper M2, but it feels more complete — like it’s finally the driver’s car I always imagined.

A normal spoke wheel can work on many trucks, but on the Cybertruck it often feels like a separate part from a different design world. I wanted a wheel that looked closer to an architectural component — solid, quiet, and directly connected to the vehicle’s form.
The AI Custom process with JamesJack gave me a way to push that idea further. Instead of adding more lines, the direction became about reducing the wheel to a stronger surface. The concept developed into a monolithic aero disc with a nearly seamless face, subtle outer openings, and a brushed metallic texture that matched the truck’s industrial character.
What makes the design interesting is how little it tries to explain itself. From a distance, the wheel reads as one clean, heavy form. Up close, the small venting details around the edge create just enough depth to keep the surface from feeling flat. The brushed finish also gives the disc a technical quality, especially when light moves across the face.
The final setup makes the Cybertruck feel more complete. The wheels no longer look like an accessory added after the fact. They feel integrated into the original design idea of the vehicle: minimal, futuristic, and uncompromising. JamesJack helped turn a simple aero-disc direction into a custom wheel concept that feels built specifically for the Cybertruck’s brutal geometry.
I was so excited when I first previewed the JamesJack wheel on my matte grey M3. The original red and black version (second photo) looked incredibly aggressive in the studio shots — exactly the kind of bold statement I thought I wanted for a performance sedan.
But when I imagined it in real life — parked outside the office, driving through the city, or sitting under garage lights — the bright red suddenly felt wrong. It was shouting when I wanted the car to have a quiet, intimidating presence.
That night I stayed up late experimenting with AI Custom. I told it:
“Start with this wheel design. The car is matte grey M3. Replace the red with a deep bronze or copper tone. I want the wheels to look powerful and expensive, like they belong on a serious driver’s car rather than a show car.”
The AI gave me several directions. I rejected a couple that were too dark or too orange, then guided it further: “Add more brushed texture to the bronze and keep the black sections deep so the wheel has nice depth and contrast in different lighting.”
When the final bronze wheels loaded onto the car, it was one of those “yes, this is it” moments. The warm metallic tone perfectly complements the matte grey, giving the M3 a sophisticated yet menacing look that feels right every single time I see it.
Sometimes the best modifications come from realizing what you don’t want.

One thing I've always liked about the Dark Horse is that it already looks complete from the factory. It doesn't need oversized wheels or an aggressive body kit to stand out.
That's exactly why I struggled when I started looking for aftermarket wheels.
Almost everything I found felt like it was trying too hard—too many spokes, deep milling, oversized logos, or finishes that demanded all the attention. They looked impressive on their own, but once I imagined them on my car, they started changing the personality of the Mustang instead of complementing it.
After browsing JamesJack's Ready Designs, this was the first wheel that felt different. It had the simplicity I was looking for, so I used See It On Your Car to see how it would actually look.
The proportions were exactly right.
But the finish still didn't feel completely at home on my car.
The original silver and rose gold combination looked beautiful , but once I saw it against my Dark Horse's deep blue paint, the rose gold felt a little more prominent than I had imagined. The wheel itself was exactly what I wanted—it was just the balance between the two finishes that didn't quite match the personality I was after.
Instead of moving on to another wheel, I opened AI Custom.
Rather than redesigning it, I wanted to refine it.
I told the AI I wanted to keep the two-tone concept but make it feel a little more restrained. We experimented with darker center finishes, softer champagne tones, and different metallic textures while preserving the original character of the wheel. Some versions lost too much warmth, while others still felt a bit too bright.
After a few rounds of adjustments, everything finally clicked.
The darker center gave the wheel more depth, while the softer champagne finish added just enough contrast without competing with the body color. It still felt like the same wheel that caught my attention in the first place—just better suited to my Mustang.
Looking back, See It On Your Car showed me what needed refining, and AI Custom helped me turn a great design into one that felt completely personal.

I bought the RS6 Avant because it's a contradiction by design — a practical family wagon that hides supercar-level performance beneath an understated exterior. The factory already strikes a near-perfect balance between aggression and restraint, but I felt the wheels could push that mechanical character one step further.
When I started exploring ideas, I wasn't looking at other wheels.
I was looking at industrial products.
High-end audio amplifiers, CNC-machined control knobs, cooling fins, precision metal components — these became the real inspiration. I wanted a wheel that felt less like automotive jewelry and more like a piece of functional engineering.
The center section draws from diamond-knurled aluminum surfaces commonly found on premium audio gear. Radiating outward from it are dozens of cooling-fin-like blades, forming a structure that echoes the heatsink of a high-power amplifier. The contrast between brushed aluminum textures and recessed black surfaces adds depth while reinforcing the industrial aesthetic.
The hardest part was keeping it elegant.
The RS6 is aggressive, but it's also sophisticated. Push the mechanical theme too far, and the car starts to feel harsh and over-engineered. To avoid that, the design keeps a clean circular flow and stays free of visual clutter — refined from a distance, with the engineering details only revealing themselves up close.
The final result feels exactly right for the RS6.
Not flashy.
Not traditional.
Not borrowed from another wheel.
It feels like something Audi's own engineering team might have designed — if they approached wheel design the same way they build performance hardware.
The wheel transformed the car into something more precise, more controlled, more purpose-built.
Exactly what I wanted from an RS6.
When I started looking for wheels for my Silverado, I automatically gravitated toward traditional off-road designs.
Large windows.
Heavy spokes.
Aggressive beadlock-inspired styling.
That seemed like the obvious choice.
Then I came across AXIS-6.
At first, I wasn't convinced. The design felt more architectural than rugged. The sharp angles, directional surfaces, and technical details looked like something I would normally associate with a performance SUV rather than a full-size truck.
But once I saw it on the vehicle, my perspective changed completely.
Instead of competing with the truck's size, AXIS-6 actually complements it. The six-spoke layout provides the visual strength a truck needs, while the angular machining introduces a level of refinement that most traditional truck wheels lack. The result feels modern and purposeful rather than purely aggressive.
What surprised me most was how different the truck felt without changing its character.
It still looks capable.
It still looks tough.
It still looks ready for work, trails, and long road trips.
But now it also feels more premium and more distinctive.
That's one of the lessons I've learned through JamesJack.
Many people start by shopping for a wheel category.

AXIS-6 was one of those surprises for me.
I bought the Cybertruck because it feels unlike anything else on the road: sharp, futuristic, and engineered with a level of presence that already looks closer to a concept vehicle than a conventional pickup. While the factory wheels work well with the truck’s design, I wanted something that pushed the visual language even further without compromising the tough, functional character of the vehicle. Finding a wheel that could match the Cybertruck’s stainless-steel geometry, EV identity, and heavy-duty attitude was not easy.
That changed when I started the AI Custom process with JamesJack. Instead of choosing from an existing wheel style, I was able to shape a design direction around the Cybertruck itself: something angular, aerodynamic, and powerful enough to feel native to the truck’s radical form. The final concept used a slotted, almost solid-face shield that transformed the entire side profile of the vehicle. The asymmetric cuts added controlled visual movement while standing still, echoing the Cybertruck’s faceted body lines without feeling overdesigned. It did not look aftermarket; it looked like a factory prototype from a future design program.
Now, the truck looks exactly how I imagined a Cybertruck could look with a more advanced wheel setup. The dark, reflective finish contrasts against the stainless-steel body and gives the whole vehicle a heavier, more premium presence. I could not be happier with how JamesJack brought this conceptual vision to life on my daily driver.
I've always loved the Defender because it doesn't need to prove anything.
It's capable, practical, and confident in a way that feels completely effortless. That's exactly why I wanted the modifications to follow the same philosophy.

When I started looking for wheels for my Polestar 3, I thought I already knew what I wanted — something dark, satin black or gunmetal, safe and modern like most EV owners choose.
PHANTOM-5 completely surprised me and changed my mind.
What drew me in wasn’t the wheel on its own, but how perfectly it matched the Polestar’s clean, Scandinavian design philosophy.
