The copper finish was the part that made this concept feel different from the start. On a vehicle with flat panels, sharp edges, and a stainless-steel-like surface, black wheels would have been the safe choice. They would have made the truck look tougher, but also more predictable. I wanted the opposite: a wheel that could keep the mechanical strength of the build, while adding a warmer metallic contrast to the body. That direction led to a six-spoke design with a deep-dish profile. The wide spokes give the wheel a strong structural look, while the stepped lip adds the depth that this kind of vehicle needs from the side view. Because the body is so geometric, a flat wheel face would have looked too simple. The recessed center and exposed hardware make the setup feel more engineered, almost like a machined industrial component. The brushed copper finish became the main character of the design. It does not feel flashy in a decorative way. It feels more like raw metal shaped into something functional. The brushing across the spokes gives the surface a directional texture, while the outer lip catches light in a more circular pattern. That small contrast makes the wheel change depending on the angle, which helps the whole truck feel less static. What I like most is how the wheels make the vehicle feel grounded.
