Developing this wheel setup was all about creating a high-contrast visual that bridges the gap between classic luxury and modern composite aesthetics. The core of the design features a ten-spoke split configuration, finished in a warm, brushed gold that radiates even under low-light conditions. These spokes are designed with a sharp, tapering profile that reaches out from a recessed center hub, creating a sense of depth and mechanical precision. By extending the spoke tips toward the outer register, the visual diameter of the wheel is maximized, giving the vehicle a much more aggressive and planted stance. What really sets this concept apart is the pairing of the metallic face with a deep carbon fiber barrel. The weave pattern of the carbon provides a complex, dark texture that frames the gold center perfectly. This combination ensures that the wheel doesn't just disappear into the wheel well; instead, the dark barrel creates a shadowbox effect that makes the golden spokes pop. The addition of exposed black hardware around the perimeter adds a layer of industrial detail, emphasizing the multi-piece architecture of the build. On a sleek, silver grand tourer, this choice of finish completely shifts the presence of the car. While the body remains clean and sophisticated, the wheels introduce a level of bespoke craftsmanship that feels intentional and bold.
