When conceptualizing this wheel setup, the primary goal was to create a bridge between the sharp, pixelated futuristic aesthetic of the vehicle and a timeless, performance-oriented wheel profile. The car features a lot of complex geometric lines and unique lighting signatures, so the wheel design needed to be bold enough to stand out without competing with those factory details. I landed on a clean, five-spoke star design that prioritizes flat surfaces and sharp transitions. The face of the wheel is finished in a subtle brushed silver, which provides a sophisticated, matte-like texture that catches the light in a very predictable, linear way. This choice was intentional to mimic some of the metallic trim found elsewhere on the bodywork. Surrounding the center face is a ring of exposed hardware. These perimeter bolts add a necessary mechanical complexity to the design, giving it that high-end, multi-piece look that signifies custom craftsmanship. It breaks up the transition between the center star and the outer barrel, creating a distinct visual boundary that highlights the construction of the wheel. The most striking element of this concept is the depth. By utilizing a deep, stepped lip with a high-polish finish, the wheel gains an incredible amount of dimension. In an era where most electric vehicles are equipped with flat, aerodynamic covers, introducing a significant dish profile completely transforms the presence of the build. It pushes the visual weight lower and wider, giving the silhouette a more grounded and aggressive stance. The polished barrel acts like a mirror, reflecting the surrounding environment and the inner details of the spoke structure, which adds a sense of luxury and scale. This specific combination of a brushed face and a polished lip ensures that the wheels remain the focal point regardless of the lighting conditions. Whether under the soft glow of a sunset or the harsh midday sun, the contrast between the two finishes keeps the design dynamic. The result is a look that feels both factory-plus and completely custom, enhancing the character of the vehicle by leaning into a modern classic vibe.
