Regal Multi-Spoke Architectural Wheels
Ready Designs
The design intent for this setup was to create a wheel that complements the massive, stately proportions of a modern flagship luxury sedan. To achieve this, I focused on a high-density finned structure that emphasizes surface area and intricate detail over open space. This specific multi-spoke concept features a central hub that gently recedes into a concave bowl, from which dozens of slim, precisely machined fins radiate toward the outer rim. The goal was to provide a visual weight that grounds the vehicle, making the stance feel solid and permanent while adding a layer of technical sophistication. The brushed silver finish was a deliberate choice to provide a clean contrast against the deep, dark exterior of the car. Rather than a high-chrome mirror look, this satin-brushed texture catches the ambient light in a more controlled, sophisticated way, highlighting the individual edges of each spoke. By extending the fins all the way to the very edge of the wheel face, the visual diameter is maximized, filling the large wheel arches perfectly without the need for overly aggressive suspension drops. On a car with such long, horizontal lines, the verticality of the fins creates a beautiful intersection of design elements. When the car is stationary, the wheels look like architectural monuments; when in motion, the high spoke count creates a shimmering, fluid effect that resembles a solid turbine disc. The transition from the smooth center cap area to the sharp, repeating pattern of the spokes adds a sense of depth that reveals more detail the closer you get. This concept moves away from the traditional sporty aesthetic and instead embraces a more formal, jewelry-like presence that respects the character of the vehicle while modernizing its overall profile.
