Why I Changed My Tesla Wheels After a Rainy Season

Living in a city with frequent rain, I quickly noticed how my all-black Tesla looked after every storm. The original black and silver wheels (second photo) showed every speck of dirt and brake dust, making the car look messy even after a quick wash. I wanted wheels that could handle real-world driving while still looking sharp.

I found this modern geometric design on JamesJack and immediately liked its clean lines. But the stock black/silver combo was too high-maintenance for my lifestyle. I decided to use AI Custom to create something more practical and visually interesting.

I told the AI:

“My Tesla is solid black and gets driven daily in rainy weather. Change this wheel from black and silver to a warm copper accent on a dark base. I want something that hides dirt better, looks premium when clean, and adds a bit of character without turning the minimalist Tesla into something flashy.”

The AI gave me a few options. I rejected the first because the copper was too dominant. I asked for a more balanced version: “Soften the copper tone to a brushed rose gold, keep most of the wheel dark so it stays stealthy, but let the accents pop when the car is clean.”

The final copper-accented wheels solved my problem perfectly. They look elegant on the black body, hide everyday grime much better, and give the car a subtle sporty upgrade I enjoy every time I walk up to it.

Best practical modification I’ve done on this Tesla so far.
