Vehicle: Rivian R1S

I bought the Rivian R1S because it perfectly fits how my family and I actually live. It’s spacious enough for road trips with the kids, capable enough for weekend camping in the desert, and still feels modern and comfortable when I’m just driving around the city.

After a few months with the truck, I started thinking the wheels didn’t quite match the clean, modern vibe of the rest of the car. Most options I saw were either too rugged and chunky or too conventional. I wanted something simpler and more architectural — solid and purposeful, but not heavy-looking.

That’s why I decided to create my own through JamesJack’s AI Custom. I started by describing the kind of clean, geometric look I had in mind. The AI gave me different directions, and I went through several rounds of adjustments — simplifying the surfaces, refining the proportions, and tweaking the details until everything felt balanced.

The final Optic Plate design turned out exactly how I hoped. It has this quiet confidence that complements the Rivian’s lines perfectly. Whether it’s parked at a campsite at sunset or charging in the driveway, it just feels like it belongs there. The truck still looks like a Rivian, but now it feels unmistakably mine.— Lauren Hughes
