When I bought my Supra, I looked at dozens of wheel options. A lot of them were more complicated, louder, and had way more spokes and machining details.

But the more I compared them on the car, the more I realized that wasn’t what this build needed. The Supra already has such a sharp, aggressive silhouette — it doesn’t need the wheels to compete with it.

That’s what drew me to the OBSIDIAN-5. The five-spoke design is clean and purposeful. The deep concave profile gives it real presence without feeling overdone. From some angles the spokes almost melt into the shadows, letting the car’s lines stay front and center. From others, you see the depth and structure that makes the whole car look wider and more planted.

What really helped was being able to preview it directly on my Supra. A lot of wheels looked good in photos, but once I saw the OBSIDIAN-5 mounted, it just clicked. It enhanced the car’s natural stance instead of fighting it.

I’ve come to appreciate that about JamesJack — it’s not about picking the flashiest wheel, but finding the one that feels like it truly belongs on your car.

For this Supra, the OBSIDIAN-5 feels exactly right. Simple, strong, and perfectly in tune with the car.
