The whole build started with one question: how do you make a mid-engine performance car look sharper without making it look louder? This car already had the proportions I liked — low, wide, and mechanical. The problem was that many wheel options pushed the design too far in one direction. Bright silver felt too clean, gloss black hid too much of the detail, and overly complex spoke designs fought against the angular bodywork. I wanted something darker and more technical, but still visible enough to show the shape of the wheel. For the AI Custom direction, I focused on a split-five layout with a slim Y-spoke structure. The open face was important because I wanted the braking system to remain part of the visual experience. On a car like this, the brake hardware, the fender shape, and the wheel design all need to work together. A heavy or closed-off wheel would have made the side profile feel less precise. The satin bronze finish became the detail that tied everything together. In soft daylight, it looks almost gunmetal; under stronger reflections, the bronze tone comes through and gives the car a warmer edge. That contrast matters. It keeps the setup from becoming just another dark performance build. The concave profile also makes a noticeable difference. The spokes pull inward toward the center, giving the wheel more depth from side angles, while the outer edge stays clean against the fender line. The result feels planted and deliberate, especially with the flush fitment sitting close to the body. What I like most is that the car now feels more tactical, but still refined. The wheels do not distract from the shape of the vehicle. They sharpen it.
