Designing for the next generation of luxury electric sedans requires a shift in perspective. With this project, I wanted to move away from traditional spoke patterns and lean heavily into the aerodynamic aesthetic that defines the vehicle's character. The goal was to create a wheel that feels like an integrated component rather than an aftermarket add-on. This concept utilizes a large-diameter monoblock disc structure that provides a clean, uninterrupted surface to echo the smooth, sweeping lines of the bodywork. The face of the wheel features a sophisticated brushed silver finish, which offers a subtle metallic grain that interacts beautifully with natural light. By choosing a machined texture over a high-gloss finish, the design maintains a technical, industrial feel that suits the modern silent luxury vibe.

To break up the solid surface area, I integrated a series of functional and stylistic venting elements. Five primary oblong cooling slots are positioned around the perimeter, providing a nod to classic turbofan designs while ensuring airflow. Between these larger ports, I added clusters of four diagonal vents. These smaller, sharp accents add a layer of intricate detail that only becomes apparent upon closer inspection, creating a dynamic visual rhythm when the wheels are in motion. The center of the wheel is deep-set, with a recessed hub that adds a much-needed sense of depth to the otherwise flat profile. This transition from the flat outer disc to the concave center creates a focal point that highlights the structural character of the design. When mounted, these wheels significantly alter the vehicle's presence, giving it a lower, more planted look that emphasizes its length and low center of gravity. It transforms the stance from a standard production aesthetic into a bespoke, concept-car-ready visual. This setup isn't just about filling the wheel arches; it is about completing the vision of what a high-performance, futuristic cruiser should look like on the road.
